Quarenteta is a drawing series inspired by the pandemic, a time when people, confined to their homes, found themselves gazing out of windows more frequently. It also captures the quirky behaviours that emerged during that period — like taking self-care to new extremes, adopting pets, cutting their own hair, returning to old habits like smoking, and, of course, ditching the bra.
Teta means 'boobs' in Portuguese and other Latin languages, so the title is a playful blend of that word and 'quarantine'.
